The Israeli Academic Forum for Philosophy with Children

About us

The Israeli Academic Forum for Philosophy with Children was established at the Faculty of Education (University of Haifa, Israel) in 2017.

The Forum aims to serve as an umbrella for academic, educational, and pedagogical activities in Israel and abroad. The Forum's purpose is to be a home for conferences, lectures, seminars, instruction, and teachers' and practitioners' pedagogical development and create ties between researchers worldwide who wish to develop children's and learners' philosophical thinking.

The Forum is also an academic home for research students who research philosophy with children and collaborates with educational bodies in Israel that seek to encourage philosophical practice among young children and adolescents.
